  • Ergonomic design with a central support area
  • Low profile adapted to the first months
  • Soft memory foam
  • Removable velvet cover included
  • Lightweight design for use during supervised moments
  • Certified ergonomic product

From 0 to 5 months, always observing the baby’s development

Recommended age:
0 to 5 months

Age provides guidance, but every baby develops at a different pace. As the baby gains mobility, turns their head, or starts rolling over, their needs change, so it is advisable to review cushion use.

When can it be used?

  • During awake and supervised periods.
  • During calm moments of interaction or care.
  • When the professional caring for the baby considers postural support appropriate.
  • Always on a stable surface with the airways clear.
Use with supervision: use the Bear Cushion only while the baby is awake and supervised, or following individualized guidance from your healthcare professional. Do not leave it under the baby’s head during unsupervised sleep.

How to position it correctly

  1. Choose a stable surface.
Avoid inclined or soft surfaces, or having other objects nearby.
  2. Center the baby’s head.
The back of the head should rest gently on the central area, without forcing the neck.
  3. Supervise and alternate.
Observe the baby, change activities, and also encourage free movement and tummy time when the baby is awake and ready.

Understanding positional plagiocephaly

Positional plagiocephaly is an asymmetrical flattening that can appear when a baby’s head receives repeated pressure on the same area. A constant preference for looking to one side or limited neck mobility may contribute and should be assessed.

Repeated pressure

Sustained contact on a specific point can contribute to a flattened area.

More distributed contact

The central cavity of the Bear Pillow is designed to distribute contact over a wider surface during supervised use.

A complement within a broader approach

The Bear Pillow can complement the guidance provided by pediatricians or pediatric physiotherapists when they consider it appropriate to incorporate postural support. It does not replace examination, diagnosis, or therapy.

Free movementChange activities and avoid prolonged support on the same area.
Tummy timeAlways while awake, prepared, and supervised, according to age and tolerance.
Professional assessmentEspecially if there is a preference for turning, cervical stiffness, or visible asymmetry.
What we can responsibly state: its design aims to redistribute contact during supervised use. Preventing or correcting plagiocephaly depends on multiple factors and cannot be attributed solely to a pillow.

If you notice a flattened area, a persistent preference for turning to one side, neck stiffness, or any change that concerns you, consult your pediatrician or pediatric physiotherapist. An early assessment helps identify the cause and determine the appropriate measures.
