Age provides guidance, but every baby develops at a different pace. As the baby gains mobility, turns their head, or starts rolling over, their needs change, so it is advisable to review cushion use.

When can it be used?

How to position it correctly

  1. Choose a stable surface.
    Avoid inclined or soft surfaces, or having other objects nearby.
  2. Center the baby’s head.
    The back of the head should rest gently on the central area, without forcing the neck.
  3. Supervise and alternate.
    Observe the baby, change activities, and also encourage free movement and tummy time when the baby is awake and ready.

Positional plagiocephaly is an asymmetrical flattening that can appear when a baby’s head receives repeated pressure on the same area. A constant preference for looking to one side or limited neck mobility may contribute and should be assessed.

Mi primer hijo tuvo Plagiocefalia y con la hermanita pequeña decidí prevenir con el Cojín Oso de Starlitbaby por recomendación de mi pediatra porque ya empezaba a notarse una pequeña asimetría 🥺. Era nuestro último recurso antes de ponerle casco corrector a mi pequeña, porque no se le corregía la plagiocefalia con 3 meses y en otros cojines no quería ni estar…muy duros. Este en cambio nos ha ido genial, y ya no tenemos que ponerle casco a la pequeña…se le está corrigiendo 🙏🏻
